However do you think the governments should also provide the exact metrics they would track post the release of such schemes to understand if it was a success or failure?

Would this bring in more accountability?

Rightly said Cash transfers just add on to the state deficit rather than uplifting the social status of women. More than empowering them it makes them dependent on the government if not their partners ,rather government should accumulate the total amount to invest in setting up industries to help women stand against stereotypes . Freebies just increase tax burden on citizens and make public good less valued .
